Nearing The End

Well, my English teacher said it himself that we are nearing the end of our projects. The school year is almost over, and I'm going to be devoting most of my time on the speech that I'm going to have to give about what I learned from this project. While I enjoyed many things from this, probably the most important skill I learned from this was time management. My day normally starts at 5 AM when I wake up for rowing practice. I then go home to get cleaned up, then I got school right after that at 8. School ends at 3, then I head home and take a quick power nap to regain some of the sleep I lost the night before. Then I leave the house again for rowing at 4, and don't normally get back until after 7. By the time i clean myself up and eat and sit down to do homework, its around 8 PM. I would do my homework as quickly as possible so I can get as much sleep as possible before I have to wake up at 5 AM the next morning. Fitting this project into my ridiculously busy schedule was a hard thing to do, but it taught me how to manage my free time when I had any. It taught me that I have to make priorities rather than just goof off all the time when I had the chance to. It wasn't easy to find time for this project, but I had to force it into my already hectic schedule. I didn't work on it as much as other people worked on theirs, but I gave it my all when I had the time for it.
On a side note the short story I've been working on is nearing completion. I'll be posting that to my blogs when I finish it up if I can figure out how to do that, that way my loyal readers can see a little snippet about what I've been writing about.
