The challenges of the first page

This week wasn't an easy one. I've scraped the whole outline that I had planned. I literally got two pages down and I decided that I didn't enjoy writing about it. I mean, I enjoy writing, but this just felt so forced.  It took me a while to realize that I didn't actually enjoy writing about my current story. I didn't enjoy writing about it as much as I did other creative writing segments, and I decided after a few hours there was no way I was gonna spend the next few months writing about something that seemed like a chore. So I slammed my finger on the backspace key and held it there until my page was blank in front of me. It felt good. I've already got another idea for the book lined up. However, I'm not gonna create an outline for my next idea. It takes way to much time to think about. I'll just be writing it as I go, and hopefully I'll come up with something classy.
