Outline rough draft and future plans

This week I worked on the outline for the story, although once again it took me longer than I expected. Basically what I'm doing with this is getting the whole plot and whats going to happen when in the story with really broad strokes. I'm covering a chapter with a few sentences in the outline, with the chapters being around 10-30 pages. I understand that my whole outline might change once I start writing it, in fact I might just scrap the outline completely once I get ten pages into it if i don't like it, but I've put a lot of work into it and I'm hoping that I will fell like sticking with it, cause if I don't I'm just gonna throw it in the trash. This next week I will begin writing the story, which has a relatively basic start going on so I don't think that I'll be changing things up with the outline. But it'll probably take me a while to get it going. I've seen movies where authors just have a trash bag full of wadded up paper while the clock ticks away, and I hope it doesn't take me as long as them. I'll be sure to set down some candles in my room, put on some good music, and dim the lights before I start putting my ideas to paper. Although I hope I sound more energetic in my writing than this blog post, cause this one sounds kinda bland. Ah well, if the reader goes back and analyzes this they will find that I have secretly put a hidden message in here.

Week #2

Last week I decided that I was going to write a book, and this week I planned on doing the outline for it. Along the way I made the realization that I had no idea what kind of a book I was going to write about. Was it gonna be in medieval times include dragons and kung fu with Chuck Norris and Jackie Chan, or would it be set in a post-apocalyptic time frame with machines, rich old fat guys, and shiny police outfits. The process of choosing what to write about took much longer than I expected, but I ended up with an idea that is classified and for eyes with top level clearance only( that's just me by the way). However, I will give you a little insight on my thought process. I decided that the target audience would be teenagers, so ripped teenage boys, violence, and a dash of romance were a must for this to succeed. But should the perspective be third or first? What should the setting/time frame be like? What kind of government a society would exist? Would the lead/leads background be like? Would the main character(s) be stone cold, and hardcore, or would they be more soft and accepting? A bit of both maybe? The girls that will be reading this book can't find a guy be too hardcore that they think he's emotionless, or the guys that read this book to soft that they consider him to be a girl. What about their backgrounds? Their family? Companions?

Some of the questions above I'm still working out and actually thought of as well as others while I was posting this blog so this is actually helping me out a little, but I know what I'm going to write about now. Overall the process took much longer than I thought it would, but I made progress on the book which I'm happy about.

Blog post #1

For my 20 time project I shall be writing a book. This decision was not an easy one at all for me, since I had originally planned to run 300 miles to test the human body. Then I talked with my doctor and he shut it down quickly saying my body was too young and at this age and a run like that would have negative long term effects. So then I decided 'I'll just do an triathlon.' So I talked with some people who ran them and it turned out they were training for several hours a day daily, and with school and sports I would not have been able to do half the training that was recommended for me. So that option was thrown out the window. I was kinda stuck then, but after talking with my parents and looking deep within my self I thought that I would exploit my creative writing skills and write a book. The book will be fiction since I can't write history or anything nonfiction for crap. I'm still in the drawing board phase of what kind of a fiction book I should write, but I think I have a good idea on what I should do. However any information regarding that is highly classified and will not be revealed until a later date
